Since 1999 ADI has been a trusted partner of supply chain owners, forwarders and cargo carriers, designing & operating tailor-made global cargo capacity solutions. We actively manage carrier independent cargo capacities to accommodate the needs of our customers and their customers by ensuring appropriate capacities are available at the right time. Special expertise is required, when managing perishable cargo; one of the most fragile products are flowers. ADI as a Cargo Capacity Operator (CCO) ensures they make it to Europe fresh.
To deliver fresh flowers to European consumers, logistics must work like clock-work. For example, roses need to be harvested in African highlands in the morning hours and still have to make it on a same day flight to Europe. Once harvested, the cold chain must be kept intact – all the way through packing, trucking, up to loading the roses into the dedicated cargo airplane. Once arrived in Europe, most flowers are being distributed to wholesale and retail outlets as well as auctions – as fresh as can be. All logistics partners involved deliver dedicated, tailor-made cold chain solutions based on multi modal carrier services.
ADI as a CCO enables daily air cargo uplifts for perishables from key locations by aligning airline capacities with the needs of forwarders and shippers. For this, we partner with reputable service providers for infrastructure, carrier- and cargo handling facilities to ensure top quality services. We manage and monitor all processes to ensure a closed cold chain across transport modes resulting in consistently high quality levels.
