In addition, adi can also be an active and permanent partner in new ventures, bringing in logistics expertise, business and facilities design capabilities and a proven business development and management track record. 

Real estate and infrastructure

Logistics projects often need substantial infrastructure planning, investments, and design of many different facilities, especially when the project includes creation of a logistics platform or setting up multi-modal transport solutions. 

As a venture partner who has already designed the business model and concept adi can establish the detailed business and financial plan for the project, and take the lead in transforming business requirements and processes into layouts on master plan or individual facility level, thus becoming part of a real estate development venture. For core logistics facilities, such as cargo terminals or perishables warehouses, adi can also assume the role of the business operations owner, during the planning, implementation and start-up phases of the projects.

Management and operations

Once implementation has progressed, the management of a new venture and all aspects of operations, including logistics, administration, work flow, etc. get into focus. All management and operations functions can be outsourced to adi via a management contract, or adi can become part of a joint team of venture partners.

Mergers & acquisitions

New business ideas may also be best implemented via mergers and acquisitions of existing players to join forces in a new business activity, or to enter new regions or markets. Based on a world-wide network within the logistics industry, adi can lead the merger and acquisition process, identifying the best partners, bringing them together, mediating negotiations and closing deals.
